We first met with the Founder of Hands of Relief Shem Asuma at their offices in January of 2018 after a year of regular correspondence. Shem serves the needs of the very poorest regions of Nakuru County and has established relationships with others within his community that can assist in several of the projects.
ABOUT HANDS OF RELIEF
Hands of Relief is a proactive and responsive socio-economic empowering and relief giving oriented organization, that is based in Nakuru and currently also operating in Nairobi and Kisii in Kenya in the Eastern part of Africa. H.o.R tries to make a positive and sustainable difference in the lives of the in-need and vulnerable.
THEIR PROGRAMS
Hands of relief operates several programs that run several projects that try to serve the vulnerable Widows and Families in Nakuru Kenya. Among these programs are 1. Food security Program. 2. Sustainable Livelihood Program. 3. Sanitation and Hygiene Program. 4. Humanitarian and Relief Program
